The Link

Along with your submitted stories as our “reporter for a day”, we also air some of your letters and voicemails, and answer questions you have about Canada.

This week, Lynn Desjardins joins Marc Montgomery on the show as we start off with a look at a a special house in Nova Scotia where an architect wanted to showcase how it easy it should be to design and build a super energy efficient house and live off the power grid.

then we have a look at how one university in Ontario is helping to make a much smoother integration of international students into the canadian education system and canadian culture

we also hear a conversation with an award winning Canadian photographer, Louie Palu..and some difficult- in the sense of thought-provoking- photos he took in Mexico about the drug wars there, and the victims.

and later...we learn that police are concerned about a new type of drug being sold in variety shops, corner stores and other small stores...its called synthetic marijuana...

and we also talk about some of your comments that  we've recieved this week.
Hope you enjoy listening, and as always, we love to get your feedback, either through email, or by posting on the site directly beneath each story in our highlights section.
