Today's show looks at more of the interesting subjects we covered this week.  A huge protest movement involvming mostly aboriginals from right across Canada continues with still more blockades of some roads, bridges and railways.  We take a look at what's behind the movement with a clip from one of our reports.  Its a situation that's still evolving even after a meeting with some aboriginal leaders and Canada's Prime Minister.

And another big national issue involved the hugely popular National Hockey League. A dispute over money lbetween team owners and players ed to a lock-out by team owners.  After several months of no NHL, some fans are rejoicing at news there's been an agreement and there will be a season. albeit much shortened. Other fans are very angry and say they'll no longer support the league.  We get some reaction.

We also take a look at a Canadian step forward in the treatment of Alzheimer's with a conversation with a scientist at the University of Alberta, and further afield, or above...we hear about Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield aboard the International Space Station who is using social media to connect with tens of thousands of people worldwide.
