This week, items by Wojtek Gwiazda, Carmel Kilkenny, and Marc Montgomery

This week we're going to look back at a story regarding changes to treatment of refugee claimaints and human smuggling in Canada.. it seems there is a bit of vagueness about the new federal directives..as then now allow a treatent of refugee claimants in two different ways

we also look at what kinds of jobs are likely to be in demand in the future in this country ( and probably elsewhere), Including which ones are either fading or overfilled which means long periods of unemployment for people with those skills, or a decreasing need in the future. but also which careers are expanding.

..oh and here's a surprise... food prices are predicted to rise... we look at the reasons behind this prediction.

and one of the effects of global warming and climate change is iconic to being Canadian... skating outdoors on backyard rinks, or frozen ponds... the winter seasons are getting shorter, and its harder to maintain outdoor ice surfaces throughout the winter season due to more periods of thawing.
