THE LINK On-line features stories this week by all the members of the English team of Radio Canada International, and Carmel Kilkenny who's sitting in as host for the remainder of Marc Montgomery's vacation.

Wojtek Gwiazda has the announcement of Canada's new Chief of Defense Staff, and provides some background on the man that will lead the Canadian Forces.

Lynn Desjardins looked into the growing issue of overcrowding in our prisons. We'll hear why the trend to double-bunking will probably continue.

And Marc Montgomery looked into a report of employment fraud and how nurses in the Philipines were targetted. He file the story before his vacation.

And Ruth Goldbloom died in Nova Scotia this week. We'll hear how and why she made Pier 21, the national museum of Immigration in Halifax, into the treasure it is today.

Those are the stories on THE LINK On-line Number 10
