Canadian Sikhs have reacted with shock and prayers to the shooting tragedy in a Sikh temple in the American state of Wisconsin on August 5.

To find out more RCI's Wojtek Gwiazda spoke to Bikramjit Singh, the president of the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara the day after the shooting.

The Gurdwara is one of the largest Sikh temples in North America. It's in Canada's Pacific coast city of Surrey, which is home to many Canadian Sikhs, and is holding a prayer and candle vigil on August 7, and through the rest of the week.
