NERC preserves electricity target price for June.
The National Electricity Regulatory Commission left without changes the target
market price for electricity on the Wholesale Electricity Market of Ukraine for

In January-March about 4 million Ukrainian tourists spent holidays abroad.
A tourist flow abroad from Ukraine in Q1 2011 amounted to 4 million persons, 22%
increase comparing to the same period of the previous year, Deputy Chairman of
the State Tourism and Resort Service Dmytro Zaruba told at a pressconference.

Central bank sets currency exchange rates.
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates of the hryvnia
to foreign currencies for 20.05.2011 at: 100USD - 797.8500 UAH (=); 100EUR -
1138.1330 UAH (+); 10RUB - 2.8535 UAH (+).

Rada prefers free trade zone with EU rather than with CIS.
On the basis of hearings on the state and prospects for the development of

NBU: Share of troubled loans 11.07% up.
A share of overdue indebtedness on credits in Ukraine in April 2011 grew by 0.05
pp to 11.07% (at the beginning of the year - 11.24%) of total amount of the
issued credits. These data were made public by the NationalBank.

Ukraine, Belarus agree on cooperation in geological field.
Ukraine will help Belarus in the geological sphere, in particular, in training
experts for exploration activities in the search for minerals throughout the
world. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov and Prime Minister of Belarus

Ukrainian diaspora asks Europe to condemn propaganda of totalitarian communist
regime symbols.
The Ukrainian World Congress, which unites twenty millionth diaspora in 32
countries, calls upon the European community to demand from Ukrainian
authorities to condemn immediately all forms of glorification of Stalinism and
to stop propaganda of the totalitarian communist regimesymbols.

Yuzhmash to get state support.
The Parliament adopted a government bill to restructure the debt of the state
enterprise Production Association Southern Machine-Building Plant named after
Makarov (Yuzhmash) to the state, and provide state support in the form of
compensation of interest rates on the loans taken by thecompany.

Accreditation of foreign journalists abolished.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleksandr Dikusarov confirmed in
an interview with Deutsche Welle that in connection with the entry into force of
the provisions of the law on access to public information, the Foreign Ministry
revoked accreditation of foreign journalists since 9May.
