German soldiers killed, NATO general wounded in Afghanistan attack

Two German soldiers and the police chief of northern Afghanistan were
killed in a suicide attack in Takhar province. General Markus Kneip, the
German commander of NATO forces in the region, survived the attack.

Sebastian Vettel takes pole in Monaco after Perez crash

World Champion Sebastian Vettel will start the Monaco Grand Prix from pole
position on Sunday, ahead of Jenson Button and Mark Webber. Sauber's
