Britain expels Libyan ambassador; UN evacuates staff from Tripoli

Britain has expelled the Libyan ambassador after attacks on the UK embassy
in Tripoli. Those came a day after a NATO airstrike killed the Libyan
leader's youngest son. The UN has evacuated staff from the capital.

As labor market opens, Germany vows more checks

As Germany opens its labor market to eastern Europe, critics say German

John Paul II has been beatified and declared 'blessed' by current Pope
Benedict XVI, bringing the late pontiff one step closer to sainthood. More
