First Hong Kong trade office opens in Berlin

Hong Kong's Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) has set up a trade office to
promote economic and trade relations between Hong Kong and Europe. It is
its first trade office outside China since reunification in 1997.

Helping Cambodia to become mine-free by 2020

The Cambodian government hopes to make the country mine-free by 2020. The
goal can only be achieved with the help of other countries. Germany gives a
million a year to a mine-clearing group that employs about 350 people.

Indian social activist goes on hunger strike against corruption

Anna Hazare has launched a nationwide campaign in support of a citizen's
ombudsman bill drafted by legal experts from civil society. He will refuse
